Julie

Pankratz

Director of Operations

Julie is instrumental to our firm where she focuses on delivering excellent client service as well as handling much of the behind-the-scenes responsibilities required to keep the lights on. Julie has been part of our team for nearly three decades, serving families and friends, and helping lay the foundation for our many multi-generational relationships. Steve and Julie are siblings, and it was their father, Paul Barber, who after retiring from his career in the Air Force, planted the seeds of his second career as a Financial Advisor in Nacogdoches back in 1981. Julie grew up in a family where Christian faith, hard work, service to others and doing things right the first time were its foundation….and those are concepts that still ring true for her today. Julie holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Dietetics and Institutional Management from Kansas State University, and has worked as a Dietitian in several hospital settings assisting patients on their road back to good health through nutrition.

A few years ago, Julie had the opportunity to travel to Israel with her church, First Baptist/Nacogdoches. That trip brought to life so many of the stories and places of the Bible, and further deepen her love for the Lord and her appreciation for His sacrifice on the cross. The death of their beloved dad in January 2023 was a difficult loss, and Julie found comfort in the promises of eternal life through faith in Jesus.

Julie is the proud mom of two adult children, Kimberly and Taylor. She’s also “Gigi” to five young and pre-teen grandchildren: Tucker, Ryland, Maelyn, Nathan, and Micah. She also carries the title of “Activities Director” in her family…which is another way of saying Julie organizes the fun and always brings the candy. Her job title at Holistic Planning is “Director of Operations” …which is another way of saying that Julie brings to Holistic Planning her organizational skills, her love for our clients, and, of course, the candy.

“It’s always another day in which to excel!”
– Paul Barber
